Interesting

The thought has occured to me before, but it just came to mind again.

Linux was created, basically, to compete with and give an alternative to the Proprietary UNIX systems that exist.

Skip ahead to 2007 and not only has it been formidable competition to UNIX and survived UNIX lawsuits...it somehow managed to make the Number ONE Operating System seller for desktop computers and small business servers wake up and get scared.

It's kind of interesting to think that a hobby/hacker OS makes important Microsoft people hold meetings and spend money trying to make sure people "get the facts", and these "facts" are merely propaganda and isolated events.

Just thought I'd break the silence with some anti-Microsoft, Linux-thumping Hate post...stir the blog up and all...
