The Database Instructor by Meller

Once again Meller of Incoherent Babble [http://incoherentbabble.com] has whipped up some more drama.
Last time it was a post about a girl in California who died during a bike ride.
This time he brings it closer to home with a post about Computer Science Instructor at the local technical community college Greenville Technical College of South Carolina.

Basically he insulted his database instructor in this blog, the database instructor found it, and now they are bullying him into taking it down. He of course refuses to take it down. This has resulted in phone calls and emails being exchanged, and tomorrow, and nice little meeting with the instructor, the head of the technology department, and a business department counselor. My jump drive came in today. It's only 128mb, but it was cheap and that's all I wanted. It's also waterproof, mounted in rubber, and USB 2.0, transfers very fast. I've been without one since about nine months ago when my 256mb Lexar Sport's circuit board bent :( It was sorely missed. (Editor's Note: yeah and I promptly lost it last weekend...gonna have to send out a search party :-/)

The Beetle is still down (you never even knew it went down :-/) with alternator issues. The Wagon looks to have committed permenant suicide...like..dead...a very good mechanic still can't figure out what's wrong with it...and he has diagnostic type stuff...I'm still working on the Get Fadumpt a Powerbook Fund, I'm still only accepting donations from my self...becuase I'm dumb and haven't milked the resources of the internet....paypal anyone :)

Talking about the internet, here is some cool internet based TV for you.

Everyone should go check out Rocketboom.com, it's a quicktime video (available in other formats) setup like a small news room set. The attractive news anchor takes a few minutes a day to mention important news and weird/odd/cool stuff that's going on.

CommandN is another internet TV show. This is more like a show though. About twenty minutes and about once a week. The two hosts are from Canada and work on the Call for Help set.

You must surely be under a rock if you haven't heard of This Week in Tech, but if you liked the old TechTV before it was ruined, check this weekly podcast/TV Show out. It is hosted by a lot of the original techtv people and other famous people in the tech industry.

There is no new news on Fadumpt.net. It is down for now until I get things organized and get a decent server up and running. Read: I have like 2 computers right now that were high end big business servers in their day (and that wasn't *that* many years ago) but they still need work. :( I did however purchase fadumpt.com. you have no idea how nice this keyboard is to type on. In fact I do most of my major typing and all blog posts on it now. I suggest you all go out and buy one :) (maybe opt for the color screen version)
