The Kombi picture

It _does_ need a paint job, but that's not in the budget quite yet. You can see the new mirrors in this picture though. My dad went to Napa to see what they had, and they showed him some standard van Jr. west coast mirrors and he turned them all down saying they were either too cheaply made or wouldn't be tight enough on the highway and would swing back. So I ended up with a mirror that is the same size as your average tractor trailor mirror on a modified bracket.

The other car is a 1974 Bug that's been parked for restoration. That's the one that a lot of stories on this blog are based around.
