Changes

After over a year and a half (I think) of living alone, peacefully….quietly…, I get the news that my Aunt and her two kids (my cousins, obviously) would be moving in and staying for about a year. So, obviously, joy of joys, that means more moving. This time it was my stuff again, only into the shed on the property. So a few trips and a pint of sweat later and the dining room is now clear of boxes, has been made a living room, complete with couches. The coup knocked out my regimes reign over the house but did give me one room (I was getting comfortable with two, by the way) to live in under the new government. (Wow, I’m making this sound like a hostile takeover and such, think “ha ha funny” and you’ll be fine :-/) The house is a lot cleaner for the most part, although it’s a lot noisier (suppresses the urge to tell the noise next door to quiet down because it’s 1:40 in the morning). I’ve also realized that siblings are a thing of Hades…how does one deal with such bickering? I guess a major positive of being cramped into this room is that it’s small, that means I have to keep it clean because I’ll run out of room fast.

In other news, I’ve taken up guitar and am teaching myself how to play it. For those who are interested, it’s a Yamaha Pacifica 012 electric with a blue body. The amp is a borrowed (from my boss’ son) Crate 15watt. I’ve also decided that I want to learn Spanish and am attempting to teach myself that as well, and just to make sure this feel’s like it’s Fadumpt College, I’ll most likely be learning Hebrew because my brother is taking lesson’s with the Rabbi and it would be really convenient to attend now, as opposed to waiting a year when I’m ready, and hoping the offer to learn is still open, or whatever.

P.S. The Kombi received a new muffler today, I think it sounds/runs better. Dad adjusted the shifter again (we’ll get it right one day) and I think I traded off grinding reverse while trying to hit second with sporadic episodes of not being able to get third or fourth. We’ll see how that goes. (mental flashback to diving in front of the tractor trailer at the light and then fighting to hit third (before the adjustment) Oh yeah, and it’s getting loud horns. I have to. Your average lunatic in a car glances, sees the bus, and decides that my top speed is obviously 35mph for brick with no power and just dives out. That’s fine with me…AS LONG AS YOU AREN’T PULLING OUT RIGHT IN FRIKKEN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!! Morons…it’s happening a lot too, it’s not like I’m going particularly fast or anything, just they glance and dive and slam on the brakes. Dad says he has a really loud horn in the back of his van somewhere, I still want an air horn though…Seriously, I want you to pee in your pants if you pull out in front of me, because it got old quick ☺.
